New certification policies of PostSignum QCA have been issued. Certification policies are available on the actual certification policies page.Summary of important changes in new policies:
- the number of documents for end users has been reduced; there are only two certification policies for personal and system qualified certificates
- new entries have been added to new certificates and the Title entry has moved to the certificate subject
- the policies allow to issue the subsequent certificates (via e-mail) with more updated data than before

WARNING! CHANGES IN CERTIFICATION SERVICES!
The services of PostSignum QCA and PostSignum VCA certification authorities will be not provided on June 30, 2009 because of the planned service expansion to new contact offices.
List of contact offices of Public service (XLS). You can ask for the certificate here since July 1, 2009.
The working hours of support service are changing since July 1, 2009 to 8:00 - 18:00 o’ clock on working days.

The structure of issued certificates will be slightly changed since March 19, 2009.Certificates issued by PostSignum certification authority contain the CDP (CRL Distribution Point) extension to publish the links to download the certificate revocation list (CRL). The LDAP links contain square brackets now: []
These brackets will be encoded to improve the compatibility with some specific applications.
The LDAP link itself does not change. The current certification policies are still valid.
For the end user, this change has not any high importance.

The user statement has been updated to version 1.1.The document has been reformatted, the list of performed audits of PostSignum QCA system has been added and the contact data to PostSignum offices has been extended.

The user support service is available on new phone number 840 11 12 44 (tariff rate 1,33 CZK per minute). E-mail address and working hours are without a change.
The replacement of expiring certificates of registry PostSignum is prepared for Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
If you want to send encrypted request for subsequent certificate to registry PostSignum use the expiring certificate until Tuesday, August 12, 2008 (incl.). Install the new encrypting certificate in the next day. New certificate will be placed on the web pages on Saturday, August 13, 2008.

New filling forms of orders and clauses to the contracts were placed on the web pages.The Provider data has changed. From now, the contract is concluded with the Czech Post, not the branch office of Czech Post.

List of sold smart card products is changing from February 1, 2008. Individual smart card, smart card reader and ComfortChip software is starting to sell. You can send the data to business place via encrypted e-mail now. To achieve this, you must import the encrypting certificate of the office. It can be found on the List of business places web page.Also, you must install the certificate of commercial authority PostSignum VCA into the operating system or to e-mail client.

Planned maintenance of PostSignum QCA servers is scheduled to Saturday, January 26, 2008.A service failure could arise if you will search for certificates or CRLs. The publication of actual CRL will be not affected.
Servers should be fully operational in the afternoon.

The MWSA ID service will be not available on Friday, January 18, 2008 since 15:00 o'clock. The external service provider is planning a technical maintenance.No certificate can be issued to new customers who will ask for the MWSA ID at this time. However, certificate renewal or certificate issuing to already entered customers will be fully functional.
Full service will be restored on Monday, January 21, 2008 in the morning.
