Verification of the validity of the certificates of certification authorities

After downloading you can check the authenticity of the offered files by calculating the fingerprint from the content of the whole file using the SHA-1 and MD5 algorithms. Certificates are successfully verified if the obtained value is identical to the value stated in the details of the given file.

Fingerprints of the certificates of certification authorities are also stated on the web pages of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic. On that page, you can download the program DataHash for calculation of the fingerprint from the files.
